Responsibilities:
o Analyzes, designs, develops, implements, and maintains manufacturing shop floor interfaces in support of business requirements and priorities o Design HMI computer application software; develop test, debug and document applications o Elicit requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis o Participates in and/or leads all phases of the system development life cycle o Use accepted architecture in application design, development and documentation standards and processes o Use accepted project management, application development and documentation standards and processes o Work with customers and/or technical staff to resolve issues and software design, development and implementationRequirements and
Qualifications:
o General knowledge of shop floor functions (MES, PLM, EWI, ERP/MRP) and how technology can meet business needs o Ability to apply standard methodology for application analysis, design and development o Work requires basic knowledge basic knowledge and exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts o Ability to apply technology application solutions to business requirements and priorities o Working knowledge of manufacturing process redesign and organizational change o Perform tasks using practices specified in department policies, procedures and approved development methodologies o Conduct and participate in design and code reviews o Demonstrated ability to understand and apply the SDLC o Use formalized development methodology to ensure risks to security and business process integrity are identified and mitigatedPreferred Skills & Experience o Java o PL/SQL o Oracle database fundamentals (DDL, DML, DCL) o Wonderware HMI application development software experience preferred, but will consider similar experience with other HMI development software o 2-4 years of experience working in manufacturing and information technology preferred o Candidate should have or be working towards a BS in Information Technology, Computer Science or Manufacturing Technology Why Kelly ?With Kelly, you'll have direct connections to leading IT organizations in the best companies around the globe'offering you the chance to work on some of today's most intriguing, innovative and high-visibility projects.
