Key Role:
Serve as a software engineer on a team of approximately 20 developers building secure Web applications for DoD clients. Participate in requirements definition, contribute to system design plans, investigate and identify new technologies to incorporate within the architecture, construct clean and efficient code to meet client requirements, adhere to team standards, monitor code execution to ensure performance thresholds are met, and react to security review feedback by providing necessary patches to maintain the security posture of the system. Work in the application suite, which is currently centered on data analytics capabilities for disparate DoD datasets to provide decision support and insight into organizational challenges and opportunities. Work with a diverse professional staff, including system administrators, security engineers, application testers, and client-side subject matter experts to ensure software requirements are met and a client ready solution is delivered to the client user base.
Basic Qualifications:
-Experience with developing Web applications in ASP .NET/C# (.Net 4.0), Java, or Python
-Experience in working with common JavaScript libraries, including JQuery, HighCharts, and Backbone
-Experience with software engineering concepts and the software development life cycle
-Experience in working with Visual Studio 2010 or similar IDE
-Knowledge of database concepts, Web server maintenance and error log analysis, and code performance analysis
-Ability to obtain a security clearance
-BA or BS degree
Additional Qualifications:
-Experience with .NET 4.0 or .NET 3.5 and key framework constructs
-Experience with Adobe Flex 4
-Experience with designing responsive and reusable user interfaces for Web applications
-Experience in working with Entity Framework or FluentMigrator
-Experience with writing scripts or Webparts for Microsoft SharePoint
-Possession of excellent oral and written communication skills
-BA or BS degree in CS or Computer Engineering

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
