TASC is seeking a Senior Systems Engineer to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located at Hill Air Force Base, Utah 84056.Put your years of experience into a future of excellence as you assess critical performance parameters of the Minuteman III Weapon System. As part of the ongoing sustainment of the Minuteman III Weapon System, the US Air Force conducts flight tests 3-4 times per year. In addition to the mission planning for these flights and the post flight analysis of the accuracy and other performance parameters, TASC supports the USAF in determining planning factors to be used in war planning. TASC also supports system engineering functions in support of early technology development for upgrades/enhancements to the Weapon System. This is an opportunity to make an impact on an important area within the ICBM community.Roles and Responsibilities (including some or all of the following): Tasks will include researching historical requirements, design, and performance data Defining Requirements for subsystem modifications/upgrades Managing electromechanical interfaces Customer advising and assistance Defining, analyzing, and reviewing results from MM III reference model simulations Using results of modeling and simulations to predict performance Updating of models based on flight tests and other data Perform analysis of available data to determine system errors To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below BS in engineering or physics Minimum 5 years engineering experience with complex systems engineering analysis 3
years' experience with system engineering processes (e.g. requirements development for new subsystem, requirements analysis and management, design development and review, configuration management, interface control) Experience with statistical analysis and the use of test results with models Must have a current Secret security clearancePreferred
Qualifications:Candidates with these desired skills will be given preferential consideration: MS in engineering or physics; prior Minuteman III weapon system experienceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
