ATK is currently recruiting for an Engineering Technician - Project Employee who will work in our Clearfield, UT location.
NOTE: This is a temporary project-level position.
Job
Responsibilities:
The Engineering Technician will be responsible for the following duties:
Short term:
R&D; Tech Group Task Register
Work Order Tracking (photo documentation)
Equipment & Supply Inventory
Equipment GOP Library / Updates (i.e. Dual-Down Draft Table)
Host PES Events (Continuous Improvement) - Work Area Efficiency / JIT Storage / Equipment to Work Smart / Everything has a home & Labeled
Hand Tool Inventory (Tool Box / Peg Board Shadow Board)
Portable NEI material Shadow Boards
80-20 Inventory / Organization
NEI Material Inventory
Freezer Material Inventory
Chemical / Hazardous Material Inventory
Measurement Instrument Calibration
Technician Skills Matrix
Training Roster Tracking
Long Term:
Tool Prep
Material Prep
TC Weld & Verify / Vacuum Port Assy / Vacuum Port Leak Check
Solid Lamination / Bag / Cure
Sandwich Panel Construct / Bag / Cure (perimeter dams or tapered core)
Added Technician Skills with experience
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified)
Advanced Education (AA, Trade School or Other) Preferred
Microsoft Suite Savvy / Experience (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
Must have Hands-on / Mechanical Aptitude (e.g. Farming, Home Building, Auto Repair, Landscaping, etc.)
Must be willing to work unconventional shifts occasionally to complete assignments
Must be willing to operate power equipment
Must be able to make informed decisions using available data
Ability to Manage Work to Schedule, Budget & Priority
