ATK is currently recruiting for a Production Technician 08 in our Clearfield, UT location.
Job Description:
As a Production Technician you work on the next generation composite structures.
This job involves the machining of composite hardware using multi-axis machine centers, and some hand machine processes. It will also require development of skills to follow that hardware through sanding, drilling and edge seal operations up to final finishing and sell to customer.
Basic Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent GED (education will be verified)
4-5 years of machining experience and/or specialized education past HS such as an applicable certification or AA degree.
Experience in aerospace or manufacturing environment and/or hand tools
Must be able to work shift work
Must be able to work flexible and changing shift schedules
Must be able to work weekends
Must be able to lift 50 lbs
Must be able to work independently
Must be able to use standard measuring equipment
Must be able to use power hand tools
Must be able to read and understand blueprints, technical specifications and operating procedures
Competencies for Success:
Positive individual who is willing to expand current skill set, through schooling and training
Ability to work with others at all levels of the organization
Strong communication skills
Ability be able to work independently
Ability to work in a diverse work environment
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Strong communication skills
Requisition may be filled at a lower level (Production Technician 07) with a minimum of 2-3 years of experience and/or specialized education past HS such as an applicable certification or AA degree.
