Davis County Health Department, WIC Division is currently hiring for a full-time Office Specialist II in Clearfield, Utah.
The Women, Infants, and Children (WIC) program provides healthy foods, individual nutrition counseling, group classes, breastfeeding support, and referrals to other health agencies.
The Office Specialist position plays an important role of providing the highest level of customer service first contact to clients and visitors to the division.

Preference for fluency in Spanish and English (fluency defined as proficiency level in both languages as evidenced by the ability to verbally interpret from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English, as well as the ability to translate written documents from English to Spanish and from Spanish to English).

Screens clients for program eligibility and enters information into the software application accurately.
Explains program policies and procedures.
Schedules appointments using the scheduling system.
Maintains crowd management and clinic flow.
