Quick Apply Full-time 7 hours ago Full Job Description The GUITAR/INSTRUMENTAL SALES REPRESENTATIVE assists customers in selecting Guitars and other musical instruments and seeks opportunities to build relationships with people of influence.
The ideal candidate is friendly, service oriented, and thrives in an hourly plus commissioned sales environment.
Success in this position is dependent on proactive selling and customer relations via in person, social media and other means.
Dedicated to the growth of the guitar/instrumental departments at the Clearfield location of Riverton Music.
Duties and
Responsibilities:
Build relationships with customers by meeting their needs and following up before and after the sale.
Develop and maintain a client base to promote new business by using approaches such as telephone calls, emails, mailers, promotions, concerts, social media, KSL Marketplace, internet, media, or meetings.
Develop sales and professional goals in partnership with the store manager and meet these goals monthly.
Develop strong working relationships with guitar instructors to assist with their students' needs.
Develop an environment to increase sales.
Become a product expert.
Read blogs, trade publications, and learn from the brand reps.
Sell well known brand names such as, Taylor, Fender, PRS, Breedlove, Relish, Marshall, Boss and more! digital pianos include smartphone/tablet apps that require demonstration to fully utilize.
Be willing to assist in store with general customer service needs.
Maintain professionalism and a positive attitude at all times.
Job Requirements:
Stable work history.
Sales experience is not required but a plus.
Willing to take relevant product sales training.
Willing to work full time including Saturdays and higher volume weekday evenings and possible additional hours during high volume seasons of back to school and holiday.
Be a proficient guitar player, able to demo electric and acoustic guitars.
Ability to organize time efficiently especially relevant to advertising and promotion A positive attitude and an ability to work with others Job Type:

$30,000.
00 - $40,000.
