Essential Functions
Part-time 20 hour Cook Helper is responsible for assisting the cooks in preparation of student meals in compliance with government and management directives.
Essential Functions:
1. Provide adequate supply of foods and transfer necessary ingredients to cooking area.
2. Weigh, measure and mix ingredients as directed.
3. Prepare vegetables, salads, meats, breads and desserts as instructed and routinely set forth in an appetizing, eye-appealing manner.
4. Work with and assist student trainees in the performance of their daily work schedules.
5. Serve all meals when scheduled with a pleasant demeanor and clean-up after service.
6. Perform clean-up and sanitation duties in the food preparation area to ensure adequate health standards at all times.
Education and Experience
Six months experience or training in food services. Valid Utah food handler's permit required. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Valid Utah driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
